whenever someone tries to make an argument for something in a game that may be less compelling artistically with the type of shit thatās like āoh but it solves fundamental design problems of xā iām likeā¦ great. good for them. iām not sure what that has to do with anything, but whatever.
i donāt know if this is an industry guy thing or what but itās like, maybe not every decision someone makes around a creative process is a problem to be solved.

Iām just drowning in games I want to play and I have no time to play. Lady Rude has been sick so I am just wiped out by the time Neo is in bed. I will just stare at the file system for OPL rent another game from Blockbuster then go to bed.
This isnāt counting the ānewā Super Famicom and the stack of games that came with it and the new stack I just stared at because yahoo auctions and impulse buying.
Then we have the mature MiSTeR n64 core! Dang!
And then I have my PSPlus subscription with a dozen long-term games I wanna give at least two hours to (thatās a whole Earth Day.) and I misclicked my fingers and own Chrono Cross for Playstation now. Maybe with fast forward I could finally focus on that game that in 2023 I started on anbernic and mister and didnāt get very far.
Itās not a backlog it is a lot of games I want to play RIGHT NOW.

Apparently no manufacturer makes a part that can function as a NeoGeo Pocket cartridge port. This means that in order to have a device that can accept NGP/C carts, an actual NGP/C has to be cannibalized for its cartridge port.
This may explain why Analogueās online store no longer offers the NGPC adapters it still advertises on its Analogue Pocket site. I wonder if they were cannibalizing NGP/Cs at first.
It finally occurred to me that the builder who made and sold me the Sanni Cart Reader V5 Iāve been using to dump NES, SNES, etc carts might be able to make me the NGP adapter for it; I havenāt been able to find a Sanni cart reader NGP adapter for sale anywhere, and I sure would like to be able to dump the ~30 NGP/C carts I for some reason accumulated. This person seems to be up for it, so Iāve bought a beat-up but supposedly working NGPC off eBay to send to them and in theory theyāll be able to take the cartridge port out of it to make into the adapter, whose circuit board blueprint and parts list is available on the open source GitHub site for the cart reader.
Same situation applies to the WonderSwan (and probably WSC?), apparently.
