really like the rough and tumble (dissonant weirdness 0:24) of this one

It sounds so close to a Castlevania track with some samba? influence.

Since I mentioned it in another thread - Gotcha Force has a pretty great soundtrack, with highlights including this faux-tokusatsu style opening.

Played through Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit as recommended in the Sonic Mania thread. Surprisingly solid and the soundtrack’s decent. I like the start of Major Boss and whatever’s going on in the middle of Atomic Destroyer Zone, Act 2.

love this hot topic ambience. really want to play dmc v again but my ps4 controller is giving me issues as of late.

someone else was showing me the main Pizza Tower theme

and it reminded me SOO much of this tune from Adventures of Cookie & Cream by Kota Hoshino. almost the same melody. admittedly different sort of arrangement:

This got mentioned back in the thread but I’m gonna go ahead and embed it because how a soundtrack this pulsatingly cosmic didn’t just melt the cartridges I don’t know:

Silver Surfer NES

Composed by Tim Follin at age 19.
