I like how the Live A Live songs from Oersted’s chapter walk this fine line being trying to pass as normal JRPG themes and hinting at a future tragic outcome. They’re standard JRPG tracks (here: overworld and battle) but with a touch of weariness
The eventual twists come as a total surprise, but your subconscious mind is half-expecting them. At least that’s how I felt
