Went to bed with the thought that this would’ve made a perfect Switch game.
I like the (unrealistically optimistic) idea that people will design games around the limitations of the joy-con.

Tournament begins tomorrow. We only need 2 more people on each platform to have 8 teams on Steam and 6 on PS4 so if we got them that would be great. I’ve unified everything into a single spreadsheet and forum post:

oh man. I will try to talk to my videoballing buddy about this tomorrow??? The main reason we stopped playing the PS4 version is the lag bothered us. (The patch that never ever came

it did get a pretty significant patch, but there isn’t much a game this small can do about lag, specially when playing across continents.

don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time. I doubt everyone will be online tonight. this is all a bit of a test anyway. maybe a more intensive format (where we set a date and time and play a bunch of matches) would be better. still, I’m looking forward to seeing how this goes.
btw looks like I’m gonna have to look up how one organises a knock out style tournament with an odd number of teams :S
yamsu suggested starting with a round robin before moving on to the knockout stage, that would let you eliminate the extra team.

Tried every suggestion I could find online and still no luck. Works for other games just fine.
I didn’t have any crashes, and sound’s working at least. I’ll stick to playing it in Windows though.

yeah I never had any luck with controllers, and online wasn’t accessible either so I gave up. I should definitely try to resurrect that laptop though.
are we gonna play some videoball this month by the way? I’m away from saturday to saturday which might complicate things a little but I’m ready for any other time if you can assemble a team.

make sure to sign up to the tournament by adding your name & info to the spreadsheet here! about half the people are noobs (me included) so don’t worry about that.
