The visuals for a start, I think I either saw some screenshots or a video clip someone posted years ago… Lots of ps1 games with prerendered backgrounds and realtime 3D characters, rare to see it the other way around…
Also wanna say I read somewhere that it has conservationist themes which made me extra curious, especially since the main characters are dressed in british colonial style safari outfits, felt like a weird juxtaposition! I also heard it was endorsed by the WWF?! (wildlife non-profit, not wrestling…)
Was one of those Japan-only games like Moon Remix RPG (also now in english!) or Kowloon’s Gate that I’d catch a glimpse of/read about here and there and just be fascinated by!

Common misassumption. In fact, all non-English PS1 games already exist, but due to their purity of artistic intent, most are invisible to those who are not compassionate of heart. However, ZX Spectrum games are indeed retconned into existence by the month.
