I started out thinking I was going to get a SN30 Pro+, then I looked at a gamevice, then a phone mount for my xbox controller, and finally ended up getting a phone mount for a ds4
For some reason I feel like felix will be very disappointed in this sequence of events
The motherboard in my wife’s computer finally stopped booting only sometimes and now boots none of the time. I had to buy a used board on ebay in order to get any kind of reasonable replacement, gah. I wish it had been the ram instead!
a friend was posting on insta about how some teens crashed her Zoom AA meeting and yelled slurs at her but at least they gendered her correctly (she was not as chipper as i’m making her sound)
At least in the USA, Sony laptops aren’t really a mainstream device. They’re kind of on the “luxury” end of things, whether deserved or not. Sony is a Japanese company so I wouldn’t have been certain it’s the same there, but if they’re all stupid expensive, that might be why?
Does Dell sell to Japan? They have an outlet store where they sell returns and refurbs for massive discounts, but with the full warranty. You can’t customize it to a tee, but hey, whatever. I’m sure there are other companies that do similar, but Dell is the one I’m familiar with and who I’ve seen with the most selection in that manner. So try looking for direct-from-manufacturer refurb outlets, is what I am saying I guess.
Edit: If you’re looking for actual “Buy this model” advice, that sort of thing is kind of irrelevant for mid-range home computers to be honest. Stock cycles so quickly, it’s more a matter of knowing what your minimum requirements on hardware are, and which brand you’re most comfortable with. Personally, I’ve found HP is some hot crapola and steer far clear of them.
You can buy standalone numpads if you’d prefer a smaller screen. One thing to keep in mind is that number pads shift the main keyboard off center from the screen.
yeah, and 15" laptops tend to have really terrible build quality and no portability whatsoever compared to 13" – I would recommend getting a 13" with a spare monitor in virtually every circumstance unless you’re extremely strapped for cash and don’t have access to a secondhand market, or you really really want a gAMiNG LaPtOP
