I don’t think I’ve played a modern FPS since Halo 2

it’s great, I hadn’t played a modern FPS since COD4 (which was, of course, the same developers’ pedigree) and I absolutely adored it

and then there was doom and wolfenstein and siege. FPS games have really pulled me back in lately!

I did it! By which I mean I played the campaign for several bullet-chewing carpal-tunnel-inducing hours. Just finished the assembly line section. It’s good, what can I say. When I get the hang of this slide-jump-doublejump-wallrun-jump-wallrun etc method of level navigation and zip around shooting enemies in the air, I feel pretty badass. The shotgun absolutely owns.

Less terrific: holy shit I am dizzy now. I rolled out of bed and had a strong list to port, walls were used as ballast. Not used to that action!
