Threedshop Fire Sale

My favorite comics blogger likes the train games. I keep looking at my 3DS and wondering if I should go through the work of downloading these. He actually talks a bit about the last 3DS game too.

And they dug this up too!

I grabbed the KORGs and a couple of other games on sale. Using the shop is just reminding me how hostile Nintendo is towards its customers.

I recommend not unlocking everything in Pokemon Picross but almost everything, because some of the mechanics don’t work anymore when resources are unlimited. I played through this and Rusty’s a couple months ago and enjoyed it a lot.

Digger Dan DX and Kid Tripp are both free

the dsiware mr. driller is the same as the regular ds mr. driller, but you can load it straight from your 3ds home screen instead of having to load twilight menu first

I spent too much money on 3DS games that had not interested me enough before now to try, I hear you on piracy but I have a personal non-moral inclination against it when possible.

Anyways you’ve collectively convinced me to pick up Attack of the Friday Monsters (not Rusty’s, getting everything bought at not-insane prices before the deadline felt too much like work) so hopefully it is neat.

I also picked up Sakura Samurai because of @a_new_duck and Apollo Justice thanks to @Rudie 's clarification, tip of the hat for your recommendations/advice.

How do you buy things for your 3DS if you don’t have any money in the shop already?

You gotta link ur nintendo network id (old account) to your nintendo account (new account), then buy funds on their website

Everyone has a mildly elaborate way to do this via adding funds to your nintendo online account that you link to your 3ds one (the linking has to be done) but somehow everyone missed that you can just still buy the games on Nintendo.com for the 3ds without difficulty? Like I literally went to each individual game’s page on the store page there, clicked on direct download and it just asked you to either enter your credit card info or link your paypal address and purchased that way.

TBF the “put the 3DS into sleep mode and it’ll DL automatically bit” wasn’t working for me, so i just had to download them myself via the 3DS itself

Well, I spent the evening playing, but I guess I should have been a little more intent on getting the games than earning discounts, because with four games to go, I got a notification that the eShop was undergoing maintenance and my purchase couldn’t be completed. Au revoir, Rusty; I guess we’ll never get that truck out of your shop now

Wait, what’s this! The maintenance has ended! I can resume! I’m gonna buy all these games!!

Still not over!

Just remembered that if you go to the separate StreetPass shop you can choose one game from there to download for free.

It’s
official? Hit the deadline before being able to buy the last Rusty’s game. A fool, me, for expecting/hoping a midnight, my time cut-off time.

Final? Game purchase tally.

I really did try but couldn’t beat the tutorial and first chapter of Culdcept Revolt in time to unlock the DLC shop to get all the freebies there after it was pointed out to me that it would take a bit. Ah well.

I bought mh4 ultimate but I don’t have any space to DL it so now I gotta buy a new SD card, which makes it not very much of a deal. screwed by nintendo again, there’s no escape. maybe i’ll finally play this crimson shroud I bought 10 years ago instead

Just do like I did, he who also bought one game more than I could store: pick out a bigger storage size 3DS game to play next, then delete it and download MH4 in its place.

I guess I could, but nintendo isn’t really promising the ability to redownload purchased games indefinitely, so I’m a little hesitant to start deleting stuff

That is fair, as far as I am aware people can still download previously purchased Wii stuff so I’m not in a big hurry on this particular front.

oh shit, sunsoft put out a Shanghai-type game on 3DS

seems like a pretty good take
