I don’t think I’ve ever hated a video game character more then Algus/Argath on a personal level. That snowy keep map with him still holds some pretty strong memories. So good.

I got to the point where I could see sprites for the first time and you know what, it actually looks like shit blown up like this and I’m never going to haul this giant tablet around so let’s try on a better platform

I too had to use epsxe on my phone because the Retroarch PSX core that was working suddenly stopped working for no reason.
How I envy those for whom retroarch “just works”
Anyway I am now playing the original game, but I haven’t done anything in it yet.

What’s even better is that in the WORL edition you get to kill him all over again as an undead (in about three turns, winning the battle), which was the best fanservice one could ask for in the ‘remaster’.

(that’s not a passive aggressive like I actually do like retroarch, I just don’t like the usability or the way people talk about it like emulation wasn’t 90% as good prior to retroarch)

I’m like 10 hours into WotL and I have barely moved the story forward because ninjas. I think I maybe just got to Chapter 2.

i actually have no idea how the betting has worked i am just picking a team and yelling at the tv
its definitely AI fighting but like the characters are named after people in the chat, and if you talk in the chat the character with your name says it in a little speech bubble
