idk, i can see lots — LOTS — of dead ants, hornets, spiders, frogs, aliens, higher beings… but the more pressing issue is:

Is there still a place for this?
Helldivers 2 got released in the inexplicably long pause between 5 and 6, and has gotten rave Reviews so far … so when EDF6 drops — 24th July 2024 — it has to survive being compared to the most beloved Bug’em Up atm.

I will give them the benefit of doubt, but i have a suspicion this might be a watershed moment where the tide has turned…

true, my trusty Squad member & moi are curious how they plan to follow up the … ‘plot’ from EDF5, where they already went bonkers with the light telenovela script-level of lore and storytelling, so I am kinda wary of ‘more of the same’, yet at the same time looking forward to have the full arc of
