This thread makes me feel bad for owning a Gin Blossoms CD. Granted, I bought it myself with my own money and it’s a Greatest Hits album. Also, I accept that I’m an asshole, so frankly I’m not sure why I’m feeling some remorse about liking a decent 90s band. There aren’t many decent 90s bands, after all (WARNING: CONTROVERSIAL OPINION SIGHTED!).
I remember the Monster Rancher show with a half-remembered fondness.
That said, nobody in my grade at school got into Pokemon until well until the GBA Pokemans. For some reason the original GB Pokemon was very popular with the grade directly below mine. In my grade we were too busy geeking out about Heavy Gear, Mechwarrior, and South Park to worry about a bunch of adorable monsters.
