Rayforce/Galactic Attack/Layer Section/Gunlock is so good, the sequels never came close but apparently this collection has a prototype sequel?

They are not. Not sure about strictly limited though.
the prototype sequel is only in the limited edition physical version, which i think is already sold out.
the good thing about inin is that they price their releases reasonably and they do actually come out in a reasonable time frame
the bad thing about inin is that they do stupid stuff like this. like iirc, their versions of some other stg compilations all have one game missing for no good reason
on the whole i think they’re good though, since you can get pocky and rocky reshrined, ganryu 2, etc. on disc for like £20 brand new. it’s like living in the pal ps2’s heyday!

Speaking of limited run I got an email regarding their edition of radiant silvergun saying they’re delaying it so they could include the chiptune arrangements included on the CD in the game itself. No idea if theyll patch them into the digital version but reading the tone of the email, Im leaning towards no.
Batsugun’s pretty fun but I prefer real cave. Cant wait for the M2 version in 25 years.

Mission Craft is a top-down vertically scrolling shooter that makes extensive use of graphics of the first StarCraft game and music from WarCraft II: Tides of Darkness. The player flies the titular Mission Craft (actually a Typhoon) destroying Terran, Zerg and Protoss targets and units. The craft’s firepower is upgraded with power-ups which allow a more bullets to fire and additional missiles. Bombs can also be used to destroy groups of opponents or otherwise inflict heavy damage.
