yall shmup with keyboard or stick? keyboard seems more precise but heard it can cause RSI

stick is soooo ergonomic ime… ive never heard of fgc ppl getting rsi like smash players or w/e so i think it might generally be one of the more ergonomic methods of input

I like zero ranger but if any game needed alternate color options it’s that one (colorblind mode kinda works but I want More)

its palette is so simple, they could have just gone crazy with it like downwell

I think they added colorblind options at some point. I’ll go check.
regarding color palettes in zeroranger:
You get them after beating the game. Not that beating it is easy. I could upload my post win save but not that it completely changes once you beat it.
Zeroranger Co-op is also really fantastic because you can keep each other alive.
there is a colorblind option that makes it blue/orange in the visuals in the options menu.

I do miss using a stick, but I have no idea where I put the sanwa one that fits in this case, so this is what I got.

I use a PS4 Hori Real Arcade Pro. V 2017 version with Sanwa stick and buttons replacing the stock “Hayabusa” garbage.

Before the Radiant Silvergun whatever gets announced at the direct or something i want to register my annoyance at the trailer for the 2011 XBLA port which touted an “ikaruga mode” which not only was solely about the scoring system (who cares) but this SEVEN BUTTON GAME had an entire bumper on the 360 controller left blank that could have been used to idk, CHANGE POLARITY LIKE IN THE GAME IKARUGA??? Iuchi wasn’t doing much then, sure he would have complied.
Silvergun can be played with 3 buttons, which I always enjoyed trying to do.
Ikaruga mode was actually really nice and I hope they keep it in the new port.

ikaruga mode is better than both ikaruga and standard radiant silvergun imo

well, it gets ingame and then crashes… there are some grafix options tho!! several types of transparency… bloom effects toggle…
