I think Resi4 has nicer game bits mostly the combat is extremely tense, the inventory is iconic, the puzzles… exist, but the aesthetic of MM is just so powerful. It could only exist in the specific circumstances under which it was created and you can feel the pressure in it’s ever aspect

Crazy Taxi is fun but if every JRPG had as engaging a combat system as Undertale maybe I’d be able to finish one. Also, ya know, all the rest of it is pretty good too

I think, in future, for matchups where I have played neither game, I might just do a game store test and literally judge them by their covers. Like which one would I take out of the store based on how they present themselves. This is something I miss about buying games online where I generally research everything in depth before purchasing.
I did this with Rondo of Blood and Shiren the Wanderer since Shiren honestly intrigues me more. Like how does the ferret(?) play into things? Rondo of Blood has technically better art but Richter’s pose is a little off. I wanna fight Dracula but not as this guy.
