I’m not super interested in this game but I do think it’s neat to see them going for this sort of style with cel shading and pulling it off pretty well

Yeah, it’s a little blandly ‘80s music’ nostalgia, also in that it sounds more chintzily ‘80s’ than most any ‘80s’ music did
the opening also feels like to me it’s filtered through a combo of half-memories of 80s cartoons and more recent decades of watching anime OPs
but still, go for it, gang

The animation itself is actually less impressive than the detailed hand-animation of most 80’s OPs, but the chintziness and the kind of rotating “here’s all the dudes using their character-defining powers” is right on point imo
