There’s this really fun issue I’m having in the video threads where after watching like 5 videos, the next one shows a black screen for ~30 seconds and then starts playing the video as well as some number of other videos I’ve already watched up to that point. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. Chrome, Win10

oh while we’re at it the videos in the tweet embeds always start on a static screen for me and i have to scrub their timeline a bit to get the image to move along with the audio. iphone 8/safari, been an issue across ios 14 and 15. not a huge deal though and probably something with safari or twitter or discourse

I have the same issue on iOS Chrome.
That’s to be expected for better or worse - all iOS browsers use the same engine

yeah it’s one of apple’s few remaining arbitrary policies like that, “chrome” and “firefox” on iOS are just safari with chrome/firefox preferences sync
galling on its face ofc but given that iOS safari these days has an amp page blocker and an adblocker and a builtin tracking proxy and you can add all kinds of view source hooks, etc., via the shortcuts app… it’s about as full featured as it gets in that form factor, you just have to get on their level

not so much a “broken” thing but maybe an idea:
does discourse support moving the delete draft button somewhere else? i keep accidentally posting unfinished drafts on mobile when i’m trying to bin them

is this why the (annoying) box that shows post count [80/80] now moves around when i get to the last post, and flickers up and down constantly (along with visible posts) if i scroll to a certain point between the last and next-to-last post?
