There’s a reason they called it the Xbox One, MGS wanted to party like it was 2002
that is such a heinous mismanaged track record
Also KI was developed by Iron Galaxy
Definitely a Microsoft Game Studios game, though, with the codevelopment that implies. Microsoft is a very different relationship than a publisher like Sony.
ACTUALLY was first developed by Double Helix Games (Silent Hill: Homecoming, Front Mission Evolved, Strider 2014) with Iron Galaxy only taking over from Season 2. Not sure if that’s another count for Microsoft mismanagement but that one at least seemed to have turned out for the best.
Development duties had to shift because Double Helix was acquired by Amazon Game Studios, just in time for no information or entertainment to cross that event horizon.
Microsoft sell me a $30 4K Reach on Windows, you need the mindshare
I feel like they’ve somehow missed the point of expanding their colour palette, I still don’t like what the game is doing visually at all, but I am excited to see hollow knight with a bit more to it, the original failed to hook me
yeah it’s still super monochromatic, but I feel like that’s most games’ idea of “coherent art direction” these days
(I realize I was wishing the link’s awakening remake was monochromatic just a few posts up but this is obviously because I have extremely complex, sophisticated, and nuanced tastes)
Save us (me) from the incessant negativity Tim
crackdown 3 looks like saints row 5 not a diss
MINESWEEPER ROYALE
someone make that
Jezzball Royale
skifree royale
chip’s challenge battle royale
Solitaire Royale.
Wait…
mario party bumper balls royale
A 100-player Mario Party Battle Royale would be the best kind of hell.
Mario Party 4 or 5 had this amazing feature where, if you pressed the Z button at any time, your character would say the same, single line. You could just press that over and over and have Wario constantly cackling the entire game.
I want that feature to be global in a 100-player battle royale.
I’m still bummed that I spent like an hour filling out a survey Microsoft sent out about Sunset Overdrive that 1) implied they were considering stripping the humor out of it and 2) nothing ever came of it.
I mean, given the first part, maybe for the best?
