every casino i’ve been to so far has been clean and beautiful and really echo-y and full of cigarette smoke. it rules. i wish video game arcades were more like casinos but there’s less money involved in those
the one time I went to a casino I was out of my mind on cough syrup, shuffling around with my bucket from slot machine to slot machine, a completely dissociated shell being bombarded by lights and sounds I couldn’t process, so when david lynch says there is a unified field connecting all life I believe him
Casinos have dedicated slot machine cleaners that basically work 24 7 because slots get gummed up with nicotine grime and it never stops

also now that I’ve seen the news this is referring to I’m pretty neutral on it, deadfire came together a lot more strongly & had more interesting systems than any of their prior work and it seemed like josh sawyer decided that was enough directing for him right afterward, so idk what to expect out of them next
