Everything I’ve heard makes this sound ridiculous, I’m so excited for blockbusters to be weirdly over ambitious again. I hope it is just two hours of a French guy talking about metaphysics

Honestly I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn’t fake.
I must admit, I’m already theorising…
The Matrix 4 sort of feels like it could and needs to pull a Goldeneye to make it work in 2021, but I worry it’s going to be a get the band back together throwback thing. I’m not sure who’s all involved creatively as a clue for which way it could go.
It’s funny that I think of Goldeneye as more or less a normal Bond transition and it’s “pulling a Casino Royale” to me

it’s mainly just hard to imagine how they’re going to go back to telling a closeted story after all this time, especially after Lana poured seemingly everything into her manifesto: Sense8 aka The Gaytrix
I’m kind of assuming the only reason to go back to this well is to use its platform and name recognition to more explicitly trojan horse some queer into unwitting living rooms in a way that is going to make a lot of people very annoying to talk to for the entirety of 2022, but it’s also the only reason I’m excited about this

Apparently there are like 4+ hour cuts of Cloud Atlas in some movie studio vault that will probably never see the light of day and I wish they would.
If it’s Lana taking back pill talk, I’m all in.

If it opens with an ironic use of Rage’s Wake Up, I’m ok with it.
Yeah if there was one movie that actually would have benefited from being longer that was it.
