It’s on HBO Max in the US but I hear in some regions it’s theater exclusive. I’m not sure if this is a case of HBO Max not being in those regions in the first place or if the HBO Max version is also region dependent.
I think the most recent trailer is probably evocative of more interesting ideas than the movie will actually end up being, but I honestly didn’t think I’d actually have any interest in a Matrix resurgence.

Rumor is trailer 2 is very spoiler heavy but I have no context for knowing what would be a spoiler so

not going to ruin it by trying to figure out if this is true or not, i’m going to allow myself the small pleasure of believing that laurence fishburne did not return in this movie due to his prior commitment to a minor role in the peacock-exclusive MacGruber limited series
to me this is even funnier than his character canonically dying in a video game cutscene
