Hmm I was working with outdated intel provided by my 12 year old self. Now that I think about it, knowing me, I didn’t even try ramp mode.

Ramp mode rules. The main game was pretty fun in its own way, but I only played it after chilling in ramp mode for a bit.

before you get your hopes up, because i said ‘all the way through’
its one big ass ramp with lots of secrets and you can do tons of tricks, it feels very proto tony hawk… but it is only one level
also theres good easter egg deaths, the one where you split your skull open down to your asshole because you landed on the spine upside down is my favorite
its so slick though, i still havent looked up the movesets because its convinced me im doing the moves by FEEL
the regular game starts to click when you dont try to kill everything and get the hang of the ollie physics, but the ramp mode is definitely a FEATURE

I just automatically went to it first when I first started the game because even kid me knew that “ramp=best” just by default.
