I’ve been happy with fanbyte lately, they’re the same as every post-2016 games blog with the departure of a lot of the senior writers in that they run a lot of absolute garbage sponcon and corporate kitsch that may as well be sponcon but they actually seem better suited to it than many others

Excellent article. I’ve been seeing a lot of Nocturne recommendations bouncing around and, while I don’t need yet more long games on a list I’ll never finish, this has made me reconsider beginning an entry in this series.

Ya the motorcycle bustier is from Thierry Mugler’s spring 1992 ready to wear collection
It was also featured in a George Michael video
I always assumed that collection/video inspired an awful lot of JRPG designs
Beyonce brought back that bustier awhile back too

that collection was on display when I was in montreal seeing my wife’s family a couple years ago, was a good time
all right so that’s probably where he saw it, then. i know in interviews kaneko has stated he uses that kind of goofy high fashion as inspiration for some designs (and then he goes on to describe how he’ll base an entire design off of a nike shoe).

Yeah, it came with the bonus disc that Persona 2: EP comes with that also features an interview with Kaneko and Okada. I’ve mentioned I think in Den of Screenshots that they talk about proto-Kuzunoha Raidou in the interviews on the disc.
