a nice corrolary thread to this might be like, “Help me get into this game” where a person could post about something they think they could/would/should love, but it’s just not quite clicking for them. or even like, a game they paid $70+ for but end up bouncing off but it’s too late to refund and they want to get some value out of it

I’m on the verge of admitting to myself that I will never play this type of game again even though though I really like them.

Obviously I am willing to spend an unconscionable number of hours in a game (see SnowRunner) but when it seems going in that the game will be on the long side I just don’t start it.
