Well we hit 24 hours. The telethon is over. That was incredibly fun. I felt like I was losing my mind during the first half due to sleep deprivation and I was so ashamed of my words and deeds but when I came back later…I totally mania’d that game, baby. I beat it twice!! Final time was 38 minutes and change! You’re looking at a future world record holding speedrunner! And, maybe, a Hall of Fame Humanitarian*.
Thank you to everyone who chatted, contributed to legitimate charities (be they real or fake), and, also, donated to the greatest cause of all (Bachelor Soft). I did not intend for this to be about money but I’m so glad it fuckin’ was, this fuckin’ rocks, do you know how much our electric bill is this month, holy shit. Next year I’ll try and capture more of a Telethon Flavor. Was hard this time due to like, lack of prep, and the fact that I couldn’t tab out of Batman without breaking the speedrun, and being addled by Batmania. But next year? Next year…

Anyway it turns out we did raise money for legitimate charity. A certain Batman (@HOBO) was sorta sleep deprived during the stream and forgot that a certain someone (@Rudie) promised to legitimize the charity aspect of the Labor Day telethon. Thank you, Rudie, for your incredibly generous donation to Resource Center, a Texas organization that offers community support programs for trans and gender non-conforming youth. I have already spent my Bat-bucks paying bills but once I get next month’s Patreon payout I’ll also donate a few dollars.
I’d also like to say thank you to the mysterious benefactor who gave me a F*rtnite V-Bucks gift card for playing Batman.
And I have to issue an apology to all the Sbutts on my friend list who did not receive the Gangnam Style dance as a gift today. Did you know F*rtnite only lets you send 5 gifts in a 24 hour period? Did you know dances rotate out of the store every 24 hours? Do you realize this means I won’t be able to spread the V-wealth and give every single Select Button Peely-Slayer the ability to Gangnam Style? This SUCKS, why does being a giving person have to be so hard??
