my friend and i went into The Missing knowing absolutely nothing about it and it was the first game i’d played in years where it took us like 45 minutes to figure out what the actual gameplay mechanics were.
that’s the lasting impression it left on me. oh, also, voice acting that sounds like it’s from 2001.
