Sudden alienating text adventure minigames

The important rules are that they A) are not diegetic (sorry Kentucky Route Zero), B) have no images and try hard to invoke parser IF sensibilities, C) are used for some jarring or psychologically disconcerting effect instead of being “just” ironic or “retro”, and D) end after like 2 minutes so as to be all “naw jk, we wouldn’t really force you to use your imagination :p”

Frog fractions

Lost Odyssey nearly qualifies except it’s more like a sudden light novel that happens very regularly.

I thought We are OFK qualified but I think it has too many graphical elements

stretching the topic a little but the coolest thing i remember about this The Matrix sequel tie-in game is the text-prompt interface you can use to “hack” in cheat codes
