But yeah really remarkable how I’ve seen 100s of game trailers today (indie and AAA) and so few leave an impression. It might just be me being an old man but it really feels like things are going to a weird place. Saturation of very same-y looking games all using the same engines without being able to distinguish themselves enough.
Is it so hard to ask for something I’ve never seen (in a game)?
it’s a strange time obviously; I could easily make a case that 2019 was the best year for videogames yet (I do believe this more or less) and at the same time I don’t like any of what I’m seeing this week at all (except, like, new hitman I’ll play, and new trailers to bloodlines and baldur’s gate sequels I was already excited about), AAA is losing me again the way it did in the mid 2000s, and the new console hardware has literally nothing going for it, not even accessibility or unobtrusiveness compared to running a windows box. so who’s to say really!
i am truly, unironically excited to play exactly three hours of Hitman 3 in 2 years after a steep discount. the three hours i played of hitman 2 were super memorable and worth the $10 i paid or whatever
Measuring the size of the disc slots is misleading because often times those slots are bigger than the disks themselves, but the I imagine measuring by the USB slots would be a bit more consistent.
This image doesn’t answer the real question though: is it bigger than xbox?
i’ve done a 180 and am now absolutely dreading the prospect of atlus doing this to a game i actually like and care about and having that be the version everyone plays
the demo for this is good. combat seems easier than thief, but there are almost no healing items and there’s no quick saving. I’m playing on hard and I don’t know how I feel about there appearing to only be one save point in the demo.
