That is a surprisingly excellent trailer.
While I love these games, I was hoping theyād get back to the more imaginative art direction of Super Paper Mario.

what the fuck is going on w/ those scapulae
Riggers are highly compensated for their thankless and very technical work

āWhen I started discovering art Giger was a big inspiration. His paintings were very close to my own sensibility and ideas,ā Peklar gushes. Alien is the reason why most people think Gigerās work is only about, well, aliens, or something alien to us, but this is a very superficial way of looking at it. Itās not about something alien, itās much more about alienation. Itās a reflection on never ending fusion and devouring of sentient biological entities by technological machinery.
Itās about the processes in our mind that move and frighten us as biological creatures, like our sexual drive or the drive for self-destruction. Itās about the truth of our existence, not some other formās existence. Thatās what people are subconsciously reacting to, not the alien-ness.ā
:nodding vigorously:
I knew somebody online in the early 2000s who was obsessed with Alien and Parasite Eve, and he responded to almost everything anyone said with, ākā. This guy talking about the complexity of intergalactic penis monsters reminds me of him.
This Ghost of Tsushima thing is about to start.
Following the wind instead of a custom waypoint marker on the UI is pretty neat. Edit: Dangit there is a UI element. HUD is pretty minimal on the whole though.
Nice colour variety in the environments. Atmospheric perspective looking good.
Nioh and Assassinās Creed had a baby and BotW and Horizon taught it about environments.
Tsushima is a very windy place it seems. Gameās pretty.
can i just assume this is bad sekiro and never think about it again
assume it is good asscreed and think about it constantly imo
haha! i dared to hope fuck yeah!
i canāt imagine what would get me to play an open world game like that at this point. everything here is like ~good~ but wow i am not interested in actually doing any of it.
actually, the if thereās a museum mode like asscreed i would probably buy it.
iām personally just waiting for the inevitable contemplation it will inspire in the japanese audience about what it means for a western team to make a game that is like, so brazenly nativist
let the birds and plants of your motherland guide you to expelling the barbarian invaders!!!
I turned the stream on and they were talking about a Samurai Cinema mode that jacks up the wind speed, alongside the expected black and white and film grain.
eh, I dunno, this game has always seemed like a combo between a tech demo and a stiff looking launch game for PS4. None of the gameplay footage has changed my mind on that.
I think if they add a mode where both the player and enemies all can die from one hit it might be really cool.
āgood asscreedā still doesnāt sound like a particularly fun time though
