Scuttlebutt is that they fucked something up, rights-wise, with getting Ash into the game, so all the stuff that was datamined (and that very good trailer tease!) was for naught. Dude isnât coming 
Excited for Shang Tsung to play a bigger part in this story DLC. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawaâs return to the role was pretty great for as little as he was in the game, so having him be a big focus of this next story chapter oughta be good.
Still though, only three characters. Damn. Hope they have another pack down the line, or the select screen is gonna be like Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, all weird and lopsided.

instead we get RoboCop, which would make sense if he didnât move like a Resident Evil character in the movies. Is he just going to stand still and shoot at people?

I dunno, they made the T-800 kinda chunky but mobile enough. I guess they could figure something out.
Or I guess they can go all Robocop 3, give him a jetpack.
If one of his between-round-standing-back-up-after-defeat animations isnât him bugging all out like he did in the first movie, this whole dang thing is a waste.

Itâs amazing that they took a people whose only known representatives are female (or AFAB at least), who are notable for their androgyny, and were immediately like, âBut you play as a conspicuously male dude and the whole game is built on that.â
