STUNLOCK THE PRESSES: combo breaking news (Part 1)

But those frames with squashes don’t exist onscreen any longer than they do at lower framerates, so I wouldn’t expect them to cause perceptual issues.

To be clear, I’ll probably try the Kool-Aid

okay, since I am bad at explaining with words

the keyframes that make up the squash and stretch actions don’t persist any longer at different framerates but because there’s more visual information being seen, their weight is diminished as you increase the amount of frames visible in-between keys (similar to how motion blur breaks at higher framerates)

also good on 120 fps video browser support

I think I have it. It doesn’t look broken or visually incorrect to me at 120, but the presentation of the red glow on the claw is lessened as the frame with that element stretched larger is held onscreen for a shorter period of time. In other words, it’s reducing the artistic choice of a held frame in favor of linear interpolation between less-emphasized frames.

I’ve always wanted to figure out how to land “broletariat” but never found a good path to it

Super Mario ice cream and contest thing.

Hot take on a cold dessert: The powder blue frosting and star-shaped decorations aren’t evocative of Mario, and while you may be tempted to give them some credit for including birthday cake chunks as a nod to the ending of Mario 64, I think it’s just part of the anniversary theme.

Uhh…looks like I’d better move faster on ODEing and everdriveing consoles and such, if that can somehow be construed to include like, SD card readers

Ironic recursion:

what is the build environment even like for something like that

I’m actually super curious to know. The leaked Killer7 source code was all kinds of interesting with how its structure revealed a lot about development practices of the team.

EDIT: this is gonna be good

I would gouge my eyes out pretty fast if I had to spend all day in that editor

I backed this book, excited to check it out when it arrives. Would be willing to share these digital files though if anyone is interested.

first:
WHAT, the killer7 code is out in the wild?

secondly:
What editor is that, and do people really work with it like this?
