thank you asking her would be very embarrassing
Mikado made itās crowdfunding goal in a day.
Cool, guess itās time to buy this again for the nth time.
Was thinking about making a joke the other day about āwell I guess their next remake will be RE4 because theyāve already done the first threeā and now I regret not doing it.
would be cool if the RE4 remake brought back weird camera angles and tank controls
re4 demake would probably be the only interesting way to approach this (other than I suppose taking this opportunity to make the hookman version)
another cool option would be to pull a squeenix and make it RE4:Part 1 and have the whole thing take place in that house you have to defend at the beginning of the game
According to info provided by reliable insider Dusk Golem and verified by VGC, Resident Evil 8 will release on current and next-gen consoles in 2021.
Like Resident Evil 7, the 2021 game will feature a first-person perspective and returning protagonist Ethan Winters.
However, the game will feature many narrative and mechanical departures for the series, including hallucination and insanity segments, as well as enemies based on mythical creatures such as werewolves.
Capcom ur fuckin up if tru
āWhereās everyone going? Bingo?ā
RE4 REMAKE WILL CONTINUE IN 2024
itās definitely just gonna be re4 but with controls like these remakes of 2 and 3, which sounds nice but it also ruins something that makes re4 feel like a tense blend of, like, doom and kingās fieldānot as speedy or as sluggish as either, but hinging much of its tension on tank controls and close-quarters encounters, crowd management, etc. making the player more slippery and freely mobile is the last thing re4 needs. iād love to be wrongā¦
would also love to see the late game improved and all the qte bullshit cut down
my biggest fear is that they will remove the suplex
I think their main balance knob is the enemy animation set.
RE2 and 3 finally formed a successful union between modern shooter controls and the impotent player needed for classic survival horror because they designed the zombies to have such shooter-unfriendly animations, randomly ducking and swerving, and randomized their health pools.
RE4 with stand-and-shoot has a very fine balance of enemy speed and unpredictable animations; they donāt duck as hard, they stand straight for much longer periods of time. Even with the less-fine analog stick of the time, the player is much more competent and deadly than in these remakes.
When they added movement while aiming in RE6 they compensated by increasing the zombie jukes. Beyond my tone complaints, I never understood the resulting game; I had more movement and agency but less effective methods. It felt like trying to catch a fly in my palm. Return that back to the intimate scope and weakened players of RE2 and it all made sense, but in an action-emphasized game?
When I read M-Two was made by former Platinum staff I was going to make a joke that REmake 4 would have air combos and just evades with witch time, but then I remember M-Two did work in REmake 3 and it appears to already have just evades with witch time.
have M-Two develop RE4 Remake, and M2 develop RE4 Demake
M2 designs the RE4make by building a real custom Gamecube-based machine with twice the memory, quadruple the CPU speed, and a Blu-Ray drive then painstakingly writes an emulator to run it on modern hardware. All while making sure the QTE events feel exactly the same way they always did.
just skipping code veronica, huh
I bet Code Veronica will be DLC lol.
so thereās a new developer called m-two, despite there already being a well known developer called m2 who have the website mtwo.co.jp?
did i get that right?
code veronica is such a magnificent bloated mess that it absolutely deserves the time and budget to recreate the gross excess which defined the original. capcom is too scared to do it
Is that the one with the train?
