Does the Android remote play app support third party controllers? I can’t tell from the store listing.
From what I’ve googled it doesn’t but it does have touch controls, and that video said the Retroid has touch screen emulation to assign buttons to screenspace. So that’s one option (not sure how you account for touch pad swipes though since all of your buttons would be used up already). But it sounds like there are third party implementations that do support third party controllers. I found some reddit post naming some apps called Replay and PStreamer but I haven’t used them so I don’t know how reliable they are. I recall the old third party apps had to be updated repeatedly as the official app got updated alongside PS4 firmwares.
this came out i guess, anyone playing it?
it’s free with game pass too, convenient while everyone is signed up for flight simulator
I booted it up last night and went “nah” at character creation, expecting junk food and trying to finish the other tactics game project I’m working on first, but should have impressions sometime next week
gave it a shot, the UI work and the writing aren’t bad but I can’t imagine playing one of these right now, it’s incredibly average
good shit
ikenfell is a cute RPG about witch school adventures with battles that are kind of like paper mario except with grid-based character movement. i got to play a bit of this last year & really enjoyed it
I backed this game on kickstarter, so I guess I’m getting a copy despite kind of forgetting I did?
The Suikoden spiritual successor has about a half hour left to go; it’s smashed every stretch goal to the point that they now have Natsume doing a Harvest Moon tie-in that’ll connect to the main game. It’s either the #2 or #3 most funded game of all time and #1 of the last 5 years.
Do want to point out that this would be Natsume the modern publisher doing their fake Harvest Moon. Still, I think it was someone on SB that once brought up the idea of what if after you finish a long game and save the world your character then just wants to settle down, live a peaceful life and then it just turns into a farming game. That always stuck with me as sounding very cool.
i imagine the people at the intersection of audiophile and language purist must be pretty upset about what the word ‘remastered’ has become
we got two beautiful Monster World games and then this shlock by the original developers.
What the hell
What is Artdink doing these days? This seems completely random to me.
This doesn’t really answer the question but good to know they got all 3 g’s covered.
I think the last new game they released was Neo Atlas 1469, which is on Steam and Switch. I’m not sure they’ve even published a new A-Train since then?
this remake looks bad and none of you can stop me from buying it
To be sure I am reading this correct, are you counting Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom as one of these two beautiful/non-shlocky games? Cursed Kingdom I will spot you is better to look at than this but as a game itself… shlock sounds like a good word for it.
