Stray Cat Crossing

So at some point at some time I downloaded a game on my computer. It is for an RPG-maker game with a horror-mood. It doesn’t match the sound design of Corpse Party (nothing does really) but it’s also isn’t nearly as morally gross. I am apparently playing the demo, and the full game is right there on Steam for 3 bucks. How helpful, when I feel like spending 3 bucks on Steam. They even say the full game is about two hours. That’s also very nice of them.

It didnt’ make me think, and the demo ultimately made me stop because it was bullshit hard. I don’t think less of the game for it. I just didnt’ feel like my walk around game suddenly being stage 3 of battletoads was very fair.

The pixel art is above-average for an RPGMaker game, at least

It reminded me a lot of Black Sigil. Which…I should revisit. I think I sold my copy because they were going for ridiculous prices (and it isn’t that good.) But I have a soft spot for big commercial releases of basically fan projects.
