Do you think they made it a full (letterboxed??) square with a non-transparent background because they couldn’t figure out how to replace the head icons and decided to just cover the entire graphic up instead?

I want to play the original games with the screen flipped horizontally just to see what that’d feel like to my muscle memory!

There’s probably a fanmod for this, but wonder if there’s a way to give these games a randomizer. I don’t know what it could randomize though, chaos emeralds? Shield placements? Stage Bosses?

Random monitor placements might be neat.

that’s the common assumption. there has not been an official release of 3 in more than a decade for [unknown reason] and some of the musicians involved have been talking about legal action/being owed royalties in recent years.

Would really love if they hit up Tee Lopes or the fan scene to create original but spiritually similar soundalikes instead and used those instead.

I listened to those prototype songs all the time playing the PC S&K Collection and I was always bitter they weren’t as good as the “originals.” Now, I can appreciate them for their own merit, but still!!

i mean luckily it’s a sonic the hedgehog game so there will be pointlessly elaborate music mods soon enough

would be neat if this one had the model 1/model 2 sound options from the m2 ages releases
