This just reminded me: so I know we have the gaming version of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon with the Ryu Number, but since Sonic is a movie franchise now, what is Sonic’s Kevin Bacon number? 4?
By extension, Care Bears is 5? Or would it be faster to go backwards from Care Bears? Hmm

Agreed, and at the same time thinking who would have thought after Sonic 4 (the game, not the movie, for you future SBeeps that stumble upon this post in the medium term future) that SEGA has it in them to turn the tables/their fortune when it comes to VGames featuring their bluest of hedgehogs?

not just in games, either. adecade or so ago, sonic comics were largely seen as a weird embarassment full of people’s furrymuck rp characters and microwaves babies and such. now they’re loved by all except angry twitter weirdos, and with good reason: idw sonic is one of the all-time best kid-friendly action-adventure comics
