Of note: a player can volunteer to be a Yoshi and another player can ride on that Yoshi.
It also looks like players no longer collide with each other, which is a huge improvement.

I’m thrown off because Daisy’s hair was too dark in the render they used as a pre-direct slide but it looked fine in game
yes Daisy’s hair being the proper color is important, she deserves as much love as everyone else

I can’t muster much enthusiasm for this but I do think it’s cool that so many years on circumstances have continually aligned such that Nintendo’s flagship products include more loops for their pac-land rip off .

it looks like it’s taking cues from rayman and DKC returns in ways, also just making it seem like a much more fun and goofy co op experience
i hope you can turn the taking flower off though, because oh boy was i already fucking sick of it watching this video
also i think it’s kind of funny that there are online metrics that seemingly reward you for trying to be helpful to other people when online mario hacks and maker levels have traditionally long been about making the most mean spirited environments possible
