Did not care for this story at all. You know exactly what it is from the title and it doesn’t develop this premise at all beyond the obvious.

There’s been a kind of reassessment of the Omelas story which has been interesting to read. People’s response stories to it taking the premise literally. I like the interpretation that it’s for people who can’t imagine a world where things are just perfect and need one major flaw in order to feel a moral superiority.
