itās so hard!!!
edit damn you said that already a couple posts down
I LOVE SHADOW DANCER ITS MY FAVORITE can I play that for homework instead @isfet
fine, but not for full credit
so i bought this at release and sort of fell off immediately. i canāt remember why. that was over 20 years ago, and every year, i say, āthis will be the year.ā i could try it this weekend, but i want to replay Shinobi (ps2) firstā¦.
i have heard some say itās great! better than Shinobi, even, but i canāt say, myself
Hello, thatās me. It kind of blew my mind back in my early emulation days.
And discovering TecToy ported the arcade version to the Master System, which is about the level of ambition Iād expect from folks who tried to get a version of Duke Nukem 3D on the Mega Drive. On the one hand, outrageous that it was officially licenced considering the end result, but also just look and listen to it.
I wouldnāt even play the original arcade until much, much later.
From what I played of it I prefer it a lot to Shinobi controls-wise (easier to schmoove) and I like the style a bit more but I havenāt given it the time. On my list for this year.
NIGHTSHADE SUCKS⦠or does it???
I recall them taking out the dismemberment of humanoid enemies in Nightshade. Was this to avoid a CERO Z rating?
is Joe teaming up with Chakan the Forever Man?
this looks very good
Alright, I enjoyed Forged In Shadow Torch, too.
i feel like 90% of the time when i see footage of remakes/reboots/remasters/whatever of older series, i often feel like the āupdatesā to the gameplay are the ideas i would have had as a 12 year old (derogatory), 30 years ago (derogatory), imagining what i would do if i could make a sequel to my favorite game
i think this game looks cool and fun and i am already planning to buy it and play it, but i donāt know that the thing missing from Shinobi was āair combosā or āa floating mechanicā
simultaneously, āShinobiā as a game series is a little hard to define, because there have been massive departures throughout the series. but anyway
Disappointed that the new game doesnāt preserve the best aesthetic part of the PS2 game, the ridiculous scarf that maybe originally happened in development as an error but then ruled so it stuck around forever.
Iāve been creeping along with the AGES version on the Switch for over a year now. I should go ahead and finish it.
pretty cheeky to release that demo on the day ninja gaiden ragebound launches. letās make this a petty rivalry, Iām all for it.
