i like everything about the way this game looks, except for the super-deformed character designs

Yeah that’s my least favourite part, but it doesn’t bother me that much.

Potato Flowers in Full Bloom.
The dioramas that pop up whenever I open the party menu seem to be situational based on where I am on the dungeon map. Not sure if each tile has a unique diorama, but there’s a lot of variety here.

I started this in Spanish a week or so ago and I would keep playing if I wasn’t so grabbed by Battle Network. I’ll be getting to it eventually.

wish i could endure this game but the encounter rate is just completely ass-blasting after having come from the sequel. the actual writing is just really good
