i am keeping my original post as is because it is a complete document, but here are five from othersā€™ lists i endorse. there will inevitably be more as more people post but oh well i guess!

since someone else listed the remake i should clarify that the Nosferatu on my list is the Murnau one. I havenā€™t seen the Herzog one.

Narrowing this down to five was hard, I actually think SBā€™s collective film tastes are more interesting than our video game tastes lol

(I decided keeping Flying Guillotine and Boxerā€™s Omen on here would make this list a bit lopsided. Got to give it up for the godfather of weird wuxia movies)

Master of the Flying Guillotine and Touch of Zen were nearly on my list.

Couldnā€™t decide on a Godzilla (original, Hedorah, or Final Wars) or a Jim Jarmusch movie so I gave up on both.
