I’m so glad you’re playing this. I was obsessed when it was contemporary. I think I even played it on a big PC joystick. It’s one of the rare media experiences I have been unable to recreate.
It’s very good, the worlds that are made up for the game’s tracks are so well realized. The music just really fits. The game also takes advantage of how smeary the textures were at the time and smeared them in the direction of travel to create a great sense of speed before full screen motion blur was a thing.
