Grand Strategy game about dogs.
While in the Walk phase, you move along designated routes and have to choose strategic points to mark territory and sniff butts to ID other dogs, which lets you see their marked territories. After multiple sniffs of the same butt, there is a chance to form an alliance. Pooping distracts your owner to give you more time to mark or sniff in a certain area.
During the home phase, you manage resources like bladder level to make sure you have enough ‘fuel’ for the next walk. Manage your discipline level to lower your owner’s vigilance in order to increase your chance of getting away with mischief. Barking sessions decreases discipline but increases morale and defends the home base from cats and other dogs.
Dog parks are events that happen during walks, where you move about a hex grid with your allied dogs to control the most territory and ward off adversarial dogs with barks. Alternatively, playing fetch increases your strength and stamina levels. Becoming a stronger dog deters non-allied dogs from stealing your territory when they sniff your zones.
Choose your friends and foes wisely, because there can only be one top dog in this town

some sort of fighting game / ikaruga mashup where you can gain health by parrying a specific - coloured projectile or hit by holding the appropriate button down as you block, whereas if you parry an off-colour hit you recieve 1.5 damage or grant the enemy life steal or sumthin’ like that

thats like…not really the problem with cassandra cain…i mean maybe it is if you stopped reading comics in 2002. imo the fact that shes another asian character by dc whos like a traumatized martial artist is the big thing more than the body language savant thing. like the guys who gave us KATANA dont have a great track record yknow? they gave cass a costume that obfuscates her ethnicity and everytime people get excited for someone doing something actually interesting with her they shut it down.

Honestly if they were letting you write batman comics it would probably be an improvement over recent years with the CIA guy who only writes comics about how war gives you ptsd but with the justice league.
I do have a preference for the scottish guy who usually (only?) writes comics about how drugs give you ptsd but with the justice league.
If I was writing Batman it would probably be something about an odd couple scenario with Renee Montoya training Damian Wayne in ‘democratic investigation’ because Wayne is scared of latent programming from Talia Al Guhl
rpg with a town/dungeon structure where the species of people in town is movie cop on the edge with an unlikely partner like if the police station in last action hero was a village and the dungeon is a big druglord high rise tower like in dredd or the raid
