More frightening to me than any horror game
american football game with hyper realistic modern sports game graphics that plays exactly like 10 yard fight
Super Mario sunshine 2. Instead of collecting shines you collect plastiglomerates. Mario gets a tan
You play as one of the cats from mappy. The stages are panopticons and thereās a lightshow and maybe a fog machine
An inverted Persona game (of the recent style) where you are Saitama from One Punch Man.
All the actual RPG-style ābattlesā are just mundane shit like
- Trying to get a refund out of customer service
- Dealing with bureaucrats
- Talking other superheroes out of trying to be your disciple
Meanwhile any actual fight is resolved through a dialogue scene and the only option you can choose is āOne Punchā
a light gun game with digitised sprites like revolution x, but set in the dystopian world of david dees art
drakengard 4 should be a DLC for the next dynasty warriors, just to make almost nobody happy
Pacman x Mirrorās Edge
shadowrun / āBrightā style high fantasy in a contemporary alternate reality setting thing where JFK is assassinated by a gnarly gnoll with grass growing on its back
just woke up from a dream where the premise of Subnautica Below Zero (what happened to your sister? Listen to audio logs to find out) was transplanted to a island that is a cross between nature preserve and natural history museum.
The core gimmick of the game is that you find a fully articulated Nature magazine/activity book which would have solutions for game puzzles in it, among other things. the example that came up was a page you could cut to reveal the layers under an animalās skin on the next page, but if you flip it over and look at the other side it also lines up with a toothpaste ad on the preceding page.
Crazy Taxi but youāre Yoshi carrying different baby Marios all over a 3D map
Hazy Taxi. Like Crazy Taxi but the weather is really bad.
Lazy Taxi. Points for leisure and grace.
neurodivergent taxi

Backdoor Man, the stealth porn game where you screw around with other peopleās partners and have to hide when they come home.
A 2D fighting game built around specifically balanced, more drastically asymmetric fighters. For example, there would be a roster of large, high health, but slow characters one player can choose and another roster of smaller, more agile characters for the other player.
An example would be a game where one player could play as the main characters of Red Earth while the other player has to play as one of the bosses.
Fighting Tournament Organizer Simulator 2022. Run a secret underworld fighting tournament! Recruit new members of the roster, foster their rivalries and friendships to give the fans the melodrama they desire! A raising / dating sim in a virtual midwestern college town where you are trying to inspire the best possible early 2000s indy / emo album over the course of a summer. You do so by setting up parties, dates, breakups so the right musicians meet and have the right sorts of inspirations. They need time to practice, work enough not to go completely broke or burn out before recording an album. To accomplish this you need to learn their personalities, needs and motivations.
a game that is 120fps at 4K that maintains its framerate by just moving on to rendering the next frame regardless of whether or not the frame was finished rendering, resulting in objects flickering in and out of existence like an NES hitting its sprite limit
as in, horizontal tearing but the game only rarely gets halfway down the screen buffer? For live updates, look to the stars; for the past, look to the earth
The image in my mindās eye is of a renderer that draws the skybox first, and then draws the rest of the scene in a semi-random order from front to back until it hits vblank or whatever, at which point the entire (possibly) incomplete image is displayed onscreen.
(granted, I get the feeling that modern deferred rendering systems would produce different results than what Iām imagining.)
