I swear this exact conversation has happened in my head several times over the years and is why I both own copies of FF Tactics and Vagrant Story yet never actually try them.

the game gives you super strong characters so you can he normal about it, the first time I beat the game I didn’t even know what a calculator was

yeah calculators are super super strong and completely unnecessary, which describes almost everything usable in this game. but they’re really fun
