My uncle who works at Nintendo told me the last character is gonna be Sakurai himself, and he’s gonna be able to use every move of every other character, and if you play as him you win automatically no matter the score.

Ok but seriously, honestly feeling like Foreman Spike might be a very reasonable pick now as a perfect cross between obscure Nintendo history (also ending on a first-party character like the last Fighter Pass) and cross promotion build up for the Mario movie.
I guess there’s already a Wrecking Crew stage though
tbqh, the only prediction I’m willing to make that I feel has a reasonable chance of happening (i.e. >10%) is a Mii costume that comes bundled with the song Rude Buster

If they wanted to get truly wild with it, the final character could be a brand new character to coincide with a newly announced game. Reveal it’s the Mother 4 protagonist Sakurai, I dare you.
