Imagine though the next character being a character in a mech from Sakura Wars. 45 minute Direct of Sakurai talking about all his favourite girls from the franchise and how they have influenced the Japanese gaming industry.

He will be mute, will not even be able to reference Square properties like using Firaga, will have a stage set in the middle of an asteroid field (some sort of vaguely look gummy-like) and the only two songs being
(references completely original characters which first appeared on a Nintendo platform)
(Sakurai took a pay cut for this and had to compose it himself on his free time)

Maybe they will let the Enix half handle it and he will be as detailed as the DQ Hero.

But at least get Haley Joel back for the voice. Also make Roxas his alt costume. Also make sure it is clearly stated that Smash becomes canon to the KH universe.

but if we get kos-mos then there is a chance that the game would have a spirit battle against jesus christ, and there is nothing in this world i want more than to see how everybody would react to that

Not gonna lie. I will riot if Sora gets in. He is the joke Anime Swordsperson that everyone cracks about Fire Emblem characters. Also I don’t find him anywhere near iconic enough to stand on his own with out standing next to another Disney or Square character. I’m still kinda miffed that Cloud’s movement and characters is fashioned after his Advent Children appearance. Real Cloud is a snarky insecure asshole that WALKS ON THE GROUND. He’s a boots on the ground SOLDIER. He only flies when he’s jacked up on the bad juju. Sorry, nerd rant done.
I’m still rooting for DoomGuy just because he’s certainly worthy of being in this Battle Museum of Video Games and the games needs more bad guys in the roster. I also just want to see how they would keep his ferocity but still being safe for a nintendo game. Barrin that just gimmie Monster Hunter.

I don’t think they’ve ever flat out announced that they will be revealing a mystery character like this before? Is usually their “Oh, one more thing:” at the end of other presentations. I mean, I guess it’s pretty much implied whenever they’ve announced a “Smash Direct” but to call this one “Mr Sakurai presents…” seems to be on another level of… something?
Nintendo really knows how to hype up the Internet now.
