It’s like the 3d and 2d versions of the same aesthetic (I added both demos to my to play list, am a sucker).
Gonna put in the trailer for this last one as pictures don’t accurately show that it is seemingly a 2d platformer made in the default (i.e. no fancy plug-ins) RPGMaker engine and while I’m not sure it is a good idea I respect it.

So I played both demos. The upper 3d one (LightQb) is sort of a first person speedrun game that I bounced off of mostly due to many jumps on the very first stage having very little room for error, also didn’t want to adjust camera sensitivity. TBF likely designed for M&K first while I was playing on controller.
The lower 2d one (Alpha and Iota) is actually an interesting little thing. You basically control a ball of light that possesses various things a la Space Station Silicon Valley but can only exist outside of something for a second or two before it is pulled back to the last thing it possessed. Jump between things, collect stuff, reactivate things, get story etc. but there are enough verbs in play from both the early set of things you can possess and the ability to set them to autorun at the press of a button (hit a trigger and it keeps doing the last imputed thing endlessly) that let’s them put in a bunch of little side challenges throughout the stages that can be a bit frustrating at times (and some feel impossible) but still the potential interplay of things definitely caught my attention. Added to wishlist, may have to revisit down the road.
Still one out of two ain’t bad, consider that a successful day.
