once during a chess tournament i moved one of the other player’s pieces. their confusion was very satisfying for about 30 seconds until i had to admit i forgot which side i was playing.
This batch of screenshots in particular strikes me as “Wow, if I’d know in 2000 that indie games were going to be this fucking cool looking in 2020, I would have been really excited”
And also makes me slightly sad because 2020 me is like “Whoa, neat, I will never play any of these games”
I don’t know if people remember the original Black Smith, with its basically one frame of animation of you hitting an anvil and spending all of your moneys to go visit a brothel (which again I assume is 100% accurate). Here is what the actual smithing part looked like:

As you can see, massive improvements abound. Basically what is different is you have a different brothel girl to go after this time… and they include actual sexually explicit images on the store page this go around. If you wondered if the sex scenes would be animated better than the smithing I can assure you they aren’t. Remember to add it to your wishlist.
