I assume everyone probably assumed this but the Steam algorithm really has no idea what to do with me anymore thanks to this topic. The straight game recommendations aren’t bad as they are just based on what I play, but the supposedly personalized discovery queue to introduce new games to me is literally just throwing crap against the digital wall and hoping any of it sticks.

I did this I put this demo in my steam library and I played it until I got the first image of Actual Pornography taking screenshots as I went but they were just windows 10 shots and would have required further cropping and that seemed like work so they still sit unused, unposted and uncommentated roughly one month later.

To be completely honest I am still rather struck by how Steam is seemingly 100% okay with rape games. I know that hentai in general has a… let’s say complicated relationship with it, but that is still rather passive as an observer while I see games with an actual labeled rape button in the screenshots.
Alternate take: morality systems in games have gotten a lot more meta.
