i want to play all of these games to a discernible degree more than several thousand other games i want to play, possibly indicating…something?

Final Fantasy XV was awesome because it finallly gave me the ability to fight the Amano monster designs in real time 3D. Including the weird out of proportion with the rest of the cast. And I get to do that in a fantasy analogue for the Pacific Northwest.

I’m not a big fan of Portrait of Ruin, but my two favorite Igavanias are Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia. Is that close enough?

Portrait of Ruin’s compartamentized areas made it feel more bit sized and handheld play-on-the-go friendly. The Contra boss was a nice touch too. All the Igavania’s are perfect in the same way all little babies are perfect.

The Metroid 2 remake is probably dope as hell.

portrait of ruin has that cool stage that’s set in a town getting sucked into a black hole and also a button that makes the main characters shout each others names.

i haven’t played samus returns or final fantasy xv though

Samus Returns is the best Metroid™ rodeo simulator there is. No other Metroid™ series game allows you to ride on the back of a Metroid™ while blasting it with explosives in quite the same way.

They should have just back-ported World’s physics into all of the All-Star games.
